A1 Systems took part in eSIM Summit as a major sponsor of the Mobile 360 Eurasia international conference organized by GSMA.
Annually, the Mobile 360 forum brings together distinguished experts from all over the Eurasian continent to discuss the relevant questions, issues, and possible ways of development closely related to telecommunication technologies and digital sustainnability as well as to find the ways to utilize the available potential of new technologies for the best interests of the society.
In 2021, the event was dedicated to digital transformation. The major topic of the forum was the development of digital economics with the help of 5G technology and the influence the telecom industry can have on this development.
Every year, the forum provides an eventful program with interesting keynotes from the leading professionals of a given industry, with a close analysis of the existing practices, and with lively discussions that include regional and international leaders.
This year, the Mobile 360 Eurasia conference took place in Moscow, on September 14-15th. The eSIM Summit event was a part of the main program and was held on the second day of the conference. During the summit, A1 Systems was represented by two speakers: the Commercilal Director Dmitry Galanin and the Head of the RSP Department Dmitry Tishkevich.
As a part of M360 Eurasia, the eSIM Summit was dedicated to the influence of the eSIM technology on the Russian market and the prospects it has in Russia and the CIS countries. Apart from that, the participants learned about the history and success of the first certified eSIM solution developer & service provider in Russia and CIS — A1 Systems.
Being a sponsor of eSIM Summit, the A1 Systems team gave a keynote, together with the key players of the market participated in a panel discussion, held meetings with clients and partners, and prepared blog post and spotlight video for the conference’s visitors, in which Leonid Markovich, the A1 Systems Marketing and New Products Director, broke down the most relevant issues. He described the development of eSIM for smartphones, the adaptation of the closely related to this development business-processes for operators, the new opportunities for online and offline distribution, and the improvement of mobile applets. In addition, Leonid Markovich emphasized the topic of the development of eSIM on the M2M/IoT market.
The two days of the Mobile 360 Eurasia highly intensive program, with high-ranking government representatives and representatives of the regional informational and communicational technologies (as well as other economic sectors), were interesting and productive for the participants and listeners. This major event plays an important role in the development of the industry, and the A1 Systems team was happy to be a part of it.
