A1 Systems has completed the development of mobile audio guide app for historical park “Russia – my history”. The project was implemented within «Open requests» program of Moscow Agency of Innovations aimed at search and testing of high tech solutions for public spaces.
Our same name tour guide app currently works for Rurikovich exhibition and is available in the App Store. In the near future, we plan to add new tours for major exhibitions of historical park – “Romanov dynasties reign”, “The XX century. From Great Upheaval to a Great Victory” and “New time. 1945 — 2016”.
Visitors can easily walk around and view an exhibition within a pavilion in any order using mobile tour guide app adapted to different age and language groups. Interactive map of mobile tour guide app automatically finds location within pavilion, denotes the location of thematic sections and plots a convenient rout to them, and when approaching an exhibit, starts to play corresponding audio history about it.
“NaviGuide platform is a technological core of the project and is intended to indoor navigation and proximity marketing. The main project idea is to set a new standard of interactive user experience, and provide museum’s visitors with the opportunity in getting comprehensive info about exhibits of interest without clicking buttons, reading fine texts and QR code readout”, says Alexander Dementev, the Project Manager of A1 Systems’ mobile development.
Mobile audio guide app for historical park also provides the opportunity to visit any exhibitions without leaving your home. The app provides constantly updated list of excursions and allows to listen to chosen excursion remotely and get text reference about museum’s exhibits.
