CJSC Volgograd-GSM, a Rostelecom subsidiary, has approved A1 Systems Cell Broadcast Center (CBC) platform as an efficient instrument for Emergency Alert Notifications and recommends to implement the CBC platform across the operator’s network.
A1 Systems CBC platform instantly delivers short text messages through cellular networks to mobile subscribers in selected geographic areas (zones of chosen cells). This is the major advantage of CB technology over Short Message Service (SMS) that takes time to set groups of subscribers for message delivering and to send messages consistently to each subscriber.
Another CB technology advantage is constant messages broadcast that is extremely valuable not only for people within the area of emergency but also allows to inform promptly those who recently entered the coverage area.
User-friendly interface of A1 Systems CBC platform makes the broadcast campaign management fast and easy: enter the text message and set the options of broadcasting such as geographical area, frequency and delivery time.
Due to its deep technical expertise and project experience A1 Systems has taken only one month to deploy CBC platform. The specialists of Volgograd-GSM, Center of Technical Competence and Rostelecom Headquarters in Moscow (Russia) signed the protocol of approval and recommended to provide all the subsidiary mobile operators with the A1Systems CB Center.
