After launch of the service “Express”, the subscribers of Beeline Kazakhstan received an ability to quickly get online news, weather forecast, operator’s offers of new services and other useful information on a mobile handset’s screen.
A1 Systems Interactive Cell Broadcast solution has several advantages over other communication channels. Distribution of informational messages can be both as point-multipoint, and with segmentation to a particular base station. This allows providing location based services for the subscribers. One ICB-message can contain up to 15 pages, each of 93 characters (up to 1395 characters in total), and time sending of the message takes less than a minute. These parameters are valid for any amount of the subscribers, which allows send millions of messages instantly.
By launching the service “Express” for Beeline Kazakhstan subscribers, A1 Systems Company has confirmed its status as one of the leading suppliers of Interactive Cell Broadcast solutions for mobile operators in Russia and the CIS. Prior to this, ICB services have been successfully launched in networks of operators “Tele2 Kazakhstan” and “Tele2 Russia”.
