In 2011 the company validated its position as vendor of technological platforms for mobile operators and became one of TOP-5 SMS-communication solution provider
In the expiring year the company launched more than 10 projects using USSD, ICB, SMS, STK and DSTK technologies for leading Russian and CIS carriers. Among these projects are technological solutions for Beeline (Vimpelcom), Tele2 and MTS. The company continued close cooperation with mobile operators constituting the Russian national telecommunication company Rostelecom.
Commenting the results of the expiring 2011, Ivan Evdokimov, Managing Director, A1 Systems, said: “We provide our customers comprehensive technological platforms to enable rapid launch of value added services with one of the highest ARPU on the market. In 2011 we not only traditionally maintained our long-term partnership with Russian cellular carriers, but shifted the focus to the international market, covering CIS-countries, the Middle East and Africa. I’m pleased with the realization that value added services based on A1 Systems technologies are available now to more than 250 Million cellular subscribers.”
The customer SMS-communication project was another key growth driver for the company in 2011. For only a year the company became one of the leading SMS-communication solution vendors, entering the TOP-5 rating. A1 Systems successfully accomplished 100+ projects, including official partnership with Alfa-Bank in SMS-notifications for bank customers, targeted SMS-campaigns for AlfaStrakhovanie group, Biglion, MTT, major Russian banks and search engine systems. In 2011 A1 Systems technologies helped deliver 500 Million useful SMSs to companies’ existing and potential customers. Around 200 Million SMS was delivered in the last quarter of the expiring year, which clearly testifies the perspectives of targeted SMS-communications.
Anna Kashnitskaya, the Head of SMS-communications department, A1 Systems, commented: “Our goal is to provide our partners with an effective tool to communicate with customers, to deliver the right message to the right audience, to extend customer value added service offering with SMS-technologies and at the same time to contribute to the establishment of a civilized SMS-communications market in Russia. We are keen on cooperating only with companies, whose customers explicitly agreed to receive SMS-communications from them.”
